Your data, in plain English.

Who we are

AEVYX is a studio run by Aashish Arora, based in New Delhi, India, working with brands globally. For this notice, “AEVYX”, “we” and “us” mean Aashish Arora trading as AEVYX. We decide how the personal data described here is used, so under the Act we are responsible for it.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us:

• The Motion brief form on /motion/: your name, email, contact details, Instagram handle and the project details you write in.
• The contact page: the name, company and message you enter. That form opens your own email app with the message ready to send; nothing is stored on the site itself.
• Emails you send us, through the links to hello@aevyx.in or content@aevyx.in, or directly: your email address and whatever you include in the message.

We don’t take payments on this site, so we never collect card or bank details here.

Why we collect it

For two things only: to reply to your enquiry, and to understand your project well enough to quote for it. By sending us a brief or an email, you consent to us using your details for these purposes. We won’t add you to a mailing list or use your details for anything unrelated.

Where it’s stored

Briefs from the Motion form are sent through Google Apps Script into a Google Sheet. Emails arrive in our Google Workspace inbox. So your data is held in Google Sheets and Google Workspace, on Google’s servers, which may be outside India. Access is limited to AEVYX.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until your enquiry is closed, whether that’s a finished project or a conversation that didn’t go further, plus a reasonable period after that in case you come back to us or we need the record. After that, we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

We don’t sell your data

We never sell, rent or trade your personal data. We don’t share it with anyone except the service providers that make this work (Google, as above), or where the law requires it.

Analytics and cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It is cookieless and aggregate: it doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t build a profile of you.

We also use the Meta Pixel (by Meta Platforms) to measure our Instagram and Facebook ads, for example whether someone who saw an ad later visited the site or tapped to email us. The Pixel sets cookies and shares visit data with Meta, so it only loads if you tap Accept all on the banner shown on your first visit. If you tap Accept necessary, it never loads. Your choice is saved in your browser; to change it, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and choose again. Meta’s own use of this data is covered by Meta’s privacy policy.

Other sites we link to

This site links to other services, such as Instagram, LinkedIn and our call-booking page. If you use them, their own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we’ve used it.
• Correct anything that’s wrong or out of date, or complete anything that’s missing.
• Delete your data when it’s no longer needed for the purpose you gave it for.
• Withdraw your consent at any time. It’s as easy as giving it: just email us. Withdrawing doesn’t affect what we did before, but we’ll stop using your data from then on.
• Raise a grievance with us if something isn’t right. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can take it to the Data Protection Board of India.

Privacy requests

For any of the above, or any question about your data, write to hello@aevyx.in with “Privacy request” in the subject. It goes straight to Aashish.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
